For a big car, the BMW X5 is surprisingly easy to drive, park and negotiate through traffic. Looks great, well finished and very practical for family life. The huge run flat tyres are rather expensive, but if you stick to a BMW star rated tyre, they should last longer than cheaper brands. I've the 3.0d model and 27+ mpg, I do alot of short school run etc journeys, average is typical, with 35 + for longer journeys. Very fast acceleration for when you need it. The pop up seats in the boot are only suitable for young children.

Had issues with the started coils apart from that good driving car but sore on fuel. Only changed as job was further to drive.

Best car I've owned, only selling as not using it anymore. Fastest BMW estate they do.... Can't beat it. If you get the chance try one and mash the loud pedal.

The 3 litre petrol engine and 6 speed box would make Clarkson proud. A dream to drive, reliable solid German build car. Too many standard 'extras' to list on this model (330i SE Coupe) & stunning looks. Sorry to see it go.

Lovely car, but needs big road use to enjoy. Not practical for about town based on big engine not getting a chance to breath and stretch its legs. Heavy on fuel at low speeds. Get it on open roads and that’s a different story.
