2015 Seat Leon Diesel Manual Hatchback by Joy2 • 2nd September 2018
The Leon I had for a couple of years, is a fanastic handling car and joy to drive. Boot space is roomier than a Golf GTD, and fuel economy better also, albeit the GTD is 184 bhp. Build quality is superb, great value for money car. Rear seating is great, plenty of room for adults. Infotanment system has lots of options, front and rear cabin lighting is a bonus on the FR, plus electric windows and dual zone climate control. Would fully recommend in its class.

Have had my Seat Leon SE for around a year. Really enjoying it though it gets through diesel quite quickly. There is an "eco" model for those who are concerned about MPG. Tech pack is ok though still use Sat Nav on my phone as the built in one isn't great. Comfortable, stylish and quite nippy! Large boot too.

Have had 3 toyotas in a row so time for a change, and what a change, while i would never knock the toyota te spec is non existant compared to the leon, what a fantastic driving experiance the only down side is i hate getting out of it, a real head turner in white, 105 bp loads of power loads of goodies, amazing diesel fuel economy, 70mpg!! i had heard the older engines were noisy, no such problems with the 1.6 tdi, barely notice its a diesel, the only small complaint is the seats are a bit hard on a long drive but overall brilliant car

i have owned a seat leon cupra for 4 years now and it is one of the best driving cars i have owned. really smooth handling, soft suspension and not as hard on the road as what i thought it would be and with very little road noise. i found it wasnt that hard to fuel either i was getting near 40mpg on long runs. but the main thing about the car is the power and my god it is quick when u want to drive it hard but if you dont want to it is an excellent family car.

2001 Seat Leon Diesel Manual Hatchback by andy • 9th February 2012
I bought a 2001 seat leon 1.9tdi 90bhp in sept 2011 and sold it in dec 2011. Ill start with the good points, the engine, gearbox, turbo were all 100% the power from a 90BHP is very good and great on the motorway and was averaging 55mpg, the boot is very big which is good for family, and its a comfortable car. The bad points were I had to replace the control boxes in the driver and passenger because when I locked the car about 10 secs later it would unlock itself and let the 4 windows go down in rain or shine doors which cost €200 each, the main dealers have very bad service, the lights in the dash and clocks kept flickering which my mechanic told me is the alternator and is expensive to fix, and the seals around the doors were gone so any time it rained water got in through all doors apart from the boot and my friend had leon on too so its a common problem. So my advice would be check the floors for wet carpets, and make sure it has none of thses problems. I had a toyota corolla before this car and it never gave me any trouble so I went back to one.
