Best car I have ever owned (12 yrs and 140000 miles later). Two front disc's and a starter motor was all that was required in that time/mileage. Totally reliable and nice to drive. Can't be bad to that. Well done Honda.

love this car, as all petrol hondas they are trouble free.
For a 2.4 it isnt bad on fuel, not great for short town driving, expect around 22mpg, although it can do 45mpg on long journey.

The Honda Civic sport is a great fun car to drive. It also has the added benefit of the type R body kit which makes it look like a type R at a fraction of the cost. You also have the benefit of Honda's renouned reliability - I have had no problems with mine since I bought it. I would thoroughly recommend it with its low running costs, low insurance, great looks and high fun factor.

Old is the New New

2005 Honda Civic Petrol Manual Hatchback by Azzymo • 24th July 2012
After having numerous faults with newer, more computer based cars (all diesels too may I add) I decided to go for an 'older' petrol. Honda seem to score pretty high in the reliability stakes so I picked up the last of the 01-05 batch of Civic, you know the one without that doesn't feel you're sitting in a flight simulator? Mine is a 1.6se which carries a decent spec - remote locking, leccy windees, air con & most importantly, that wee beeper that tells you you've left your lights on when you've parked up.

Flash it's not, fast no but it's also a big no to any problems yet. So far so good as they say, servicing and mot straight forward. Thank goodness there are cars still available that aren't overdosing on faulty sensors and reliant on computerised diagnoses. Acceleration isn't great for a 1.6 but handling is better than expected and surprisingly this 5dr is very spacious inside.

Sure it's no head turner, but rather that than a head melter. Oh, the dash mounted gear knob's good.

Had the car for 3 years now and have to say it has been a very good investment. For a 2 litre petrol it is easy on the fuel and the car has never let me down. I make sure the maintenance schedule is kept and I’m anticipating no major issues with this car for years to come.

The car is comfortable, nice to drive, easy to work on (do most servicing myself) and everything just works.

Would definitely recommend!

2010 Honda CR-V Diesel Manual Estate by SeisMick • 27th March 2012
I am currently driving my 4th CRV having driven them since the first one was launched in 1998. I simply cannot fault these cars, I live up quite a steep hill nad never once (even during last years appaling weather) have myself or my wife failed to get right up to our doorstep with the four wheel drive system.

Fairly easy to run and a pleasure to drive. Plus of course super reliable.

I have had my car for 4 years now, bought it with 120.000 miles, I love this car its so easy and a pleasure to drive, it really is so easy on fuel unlike my last car, taking into account the miles I do a week, insurance is steep enough at nearly £700, tax isn't too bad though for a year at £120, haven't had to put any parts on it at all apart from service parts that is , however the clutch is beginning to slip now at 230.000 miles and i hear its dear enough seeing you have to replace flywheel and all, but with all things considered I would not get rid, and I would defo buy another seeing the mileage on this car.Really fantastic car a real credit to Honda seeing its their first diesel.!!!!

We purchased our 2007 Honda CRV to tow a caravan and provide a spacious family vehicle. After a 3 week trip to France the CRV passed with flying colours. Fuel consumption is adequate for the vehicle specification and the vehicle kit is impressive. One issue I would highlight is a squeaking clutch pedal, this was replaced under warranty by Honda and is a common problem with this model.

Have had one of these for 3 years or so now and it has been a very reliable Jeep. It can be thirsty, but if the cost of fuel hadn't risen so much recently you wouldn't mind.
Great wee 'Joy Machine' - the auto 4x4 made it very reliable even in some tough road conditions in the last couple of winters too.
It has a comfortable higher driving position but doesn't feel like you're driving a bus!
All round great wee motor, only misses out on top star rating because there are obviously more luxurious 4x4s out there.
