1990 Shetland Signature 1900SS with Yamaha 175 V6 2 Stroke outboard and new 21 pitch prop. Only a handful in the UK. The 1900 is a 19ft hull/21ft including rear sponsons. Made by Shetland UK under license, Google Haines 1900S.
I was told the first owner was British bike racer Barry Sheene. The boat was in storage in a warehouse for many years. There is no evidence of salt-water use.Since purchasing in 2020, I have spent well over £4,000 on it. It is offered for sale as I was offered a boat more suited to family needs. The boat is ready to be towed safely, used and enjoyed.
Boat - Original gel coat - superb condition. New pinstripe/graphics, new dock lines, fenders on snap hooks. Front seat bases and backs and rear bench remade with marine ply and copy trim. Flexi-teak up middle of the floor and to rear. 120L stainless fuel tank. Bow hatch with lock. New custom-made over cover in pvc, new custom tonneau cover matching (fits with poppers). Sony marine Bluetooth head unit with remote, 4x quality 'Fusion' marine speakers. Bilge pump on push/pull switch. Yamaha Steering wheel fitted (original present). Ski mirror fitted.
Outboard -Yamaha 175 V6 2 Stroke w/digital instrumentation, starts and runs superbly - paint and decals original but look like new. New 3 blade 21p genuine Yamaha stainless prop. Top speed of 60 mph - this is a fast/highly responsive boat and not for a novice operator. Engine serviced including gear oil, plugs and additional Yamaha fuel filter in '21 by Yamaha technician - minimal use since. Winterised end of last season. New battery fitted May. A battery isolator also fitted.
Trailer- Single axle, brakes overhauled, carpet bunks, new mudguards all 2020, new guide bars for easier recovery, trailer spec tyres and wheels painted all 2021, new bearings, high quality winch, locking hitch, wheel bearings and jockey wheel 2022!
Boat located in Lisburn. Happy to run the outboard, but no water tests.
