Description
I have owned the car since 2020 - mainly used during the summer/weekends and for the last 2 years it has been in storage. It is a good, honest car and time for someone else to enjoy it.
I bought the car in June 2020 off friends of my parents who had owned it from June 2005. They got it from Isaac Agnew Saab, Boucher Road, when it had 68900 miles on it. They garaged it and in their 15 year ownership did about 21000 miles, bringing it up to 80k. Over the last four years I have done around 4k miles in the car.
The bodywork is in very good condition - no rust or rot. The electric hood is in excellent, smooth working order and the hood itself is in excellent condition - no heavy wear and tear. I had one of the rear wheel arches resprayed as well as the rear bumper - I also had a dent-master go around the car to remove some dings.
All alloys have been refurbished and they are immaculate. Last year before I put it into storage I had the car detailed inside and out.
Internally the car has its original Saab mats and the full leather is excellent - no rips or heavily worn sections. The infotainment consists of AM/FM radio and CD player. It displays DTE (drive to empty) and MPG too. The engine light intermittently comes on - the car has been hooked up to a diagnostics machine on 2 separate occasions and nothing is coming up as being a problem. One mechanic's theory is that the retro-fitted parking sensors may cause an electrical fault, but mechanically the car has never given any bother and this could be a simple fix.
The car has been MOTd annually and I have had it serviced twice during my ownership. There is plenty of tread on the tyres. Two mechanics I know can vouch for the car. I only have 3 MOT certificates from during my ownership - there is some paperwork and several booklets but this is all that was passed on to me.
The aircon was re-gassed by me and was working, but it is likely to need re-gassed again.
I have been as thorough as possible and hopefully it paints an accurate picture. I have enjoyed the car and found it pleasant to drive and very practical - but it's unlikely that I am going to get much use of it moving forward.
Any questions whatsoever please ask.
