For sale is my 2011 Volvo V50 D4 SE Lux. I have owned this car for 4 years but have decided to sell as I have access to a work van and other vehicles so this is surplus to requirements. This is a great example of the V50 in the best colour and I spent around a year searching for this car. It has the 2.0L 5 Cylinder Volvo engine which produces 180bhp but is much cheaper to tax than the 2.4L D5. Those who know these cars know to avoid the 2.0D/1.6D etc engines as they are ford derived engines and don't have anywhere near the same reliability or performance as the Volvo plants. This car averages for me around 46mpg and drives beautifully, especially considering the mileage. It has very obviously been well cared for from new both aesthetically and mechanically and in the 4 years I have owned this car I have spent a lot of money keeping it in tip top condition including oil and filter every 5-10k by myself, I shall outline the work that has been done below.

EGR & DPF deleted 195k (These parts plague all modern diesels, I was having issues with the system so had it professionally removed, passes MOT no problem and no lights on the dash). As a result the turbo spools a little faster, economy has improved and there seems to be a little more power too.

As you can see there has been a ton of work done on the car recently, I have also booked the car in this week to have the air-con recharged and a full laser alignment done to finish the car off. The exterior is in great overall condition, only some stone chipping around the front bumper which is to be expected. It is a complete car, no missing parts right down to the removable load cover, original unused spare and tool kit and the service manual provided with the car when new.
