1999 Toyota Yaris Petrol Manual Hatchback by Freddy • 20th November 2014
Yep. It's not a nice car. Like not BMW nice, for example. but it is ultra cheap to own and run. Bought 5 years ago with 65k on the clock. 157k today. Needed a clutch at around 115k and a wheel bearing. Otherwise no issues whatsoever in almost 100k of driving.

2008 Hyundai i30 by S,Clarke • 7th December 2011
Bough a 2008, 1.6 CRDi(115bhp) 2nd hand. with only 21k. Its a premium spec so comes with full black leather, heated from seats, climate control, rear parking sensors, ipod connection, 4 e/w, too much to list.
The insurance is expensive, but I'm only 20, so this is expected, and road tax is a respectable £90 per year (2009+models are only £30!)
Faults wise the starter motor went after 25k on it, however the well backed up 5 years warranty helped sort this issue. I have owned this car since March 2010, and since then have racked up over 24k miles. Every last one has been a joy. And the car has lasted well. A very smooth driving car, and a comfortable ride for all.Handles very well(i Installed sports springs, still rides very well, and handles even better, with less body roll and understeer).

Compliments are even given from my friends, who are impressed with the quality and finish of the car.

I would definitely buy another Hyundai as I love the reliability and standard equipment on them.

2001 Jaguar X-Type Saloon by jag man • 13th December 2011
The x type is a fantastic car to drive, its sharpe steering, responsive V6 engine and the overall build quality are simply class leading. As an all wheel drive its very economical giving around 35mpg. Best to buy is the 2.5 v6 awd manual. The car is easy to run and well finished and the v6 engine roars when pushed. Try to buy with the 18" alloy wheels.

2008 Renault Clio Diesel Hatchback by Andrew J • 14th December 2011
I've had this car a year now and put 20K miles on it, (70K total) only problem was a broken drop link bar, not expensive to fix and driver’s seat belt is very slow to coil back when released. Refined in town and on motorway, comfy seats and has one the best diesel engines around in terms of quietness and smoothness. 60mpg isn’t hard to get which doesn’t drop much when towing and with a good sized tank means almost 700 miles to a tank between files. Was sceptical when first buying due to Renault reputation with reliability, but so far has proved to be very good. Now for a new timing belt.

2002 Mercedes C-Class Petrol Tiptronic Saloon by Carrick C-Class • 20th December 2011
Good alternative to a common BMW 3 series, and much better spec'ed than an Audi a4. Very reliable. 6 cylinder (C240 2.6 & C320 3.2) engines surprisingly economical, smooth, quiet and capable of astronomical (300K) mileages. Parts and DIY/independent servicing reasonable.
Diesels prone to clocking. FSH essential.
Avantgarde & auto with leather interior preferred to basic "Classic" models.
I am already saving for a new one.

2003 SAAB 9-5 Diesel Manual 5 speed Sedan by John • 20th December 2011
I have a Saab 95 which is a 2003 model, it has a 3.0 ltr turbo diesel engine. I have to say I completely love everything this car has to offer, it has made driving a pleasure. The soft leather seats make the ride comfort extremely good, the 3.0 litre engine provides an awesome amount of power, the acceleration is incredible. The economy is excellent depending of course on how the car is driven averaging 50+ mpg . There is plenty of room for 4 passengers and great boot space in the back for groceries. The age of the car does not affect the performance of the car even now at 140,000 miles. what else can I say but I highly recommend this car

2008 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Diesel Automatic Estate by AP McCoy Not! • 8th February 2012
I bought my sport with 40000 miles done and it now has 125000. Only needed suspension work at 90000 (£845) and new compressor at 110000 (£795), both jobs done in LR garage, apart from that it has been faultless! MPG is 25 when driving normally and 21 when towing my horsebox so economy isn't bad for a powerful V8! I love my sport and won't consider anything else when changing next year.

This is a fantastic car, great economy, practical and a pleasure to drive! With combined driving I consistently get 50 mpg on every tank, it doesn't feel like a big estate to drive in fact I don't think you could tell it apart from the saloon. As with all new bmws I would recommend non run flats, I have changed all 4 tyres and it rides much better. My car has over 100 k on the clock now and hasn't missed a beat, BMW condition based service schedule of every 15-20k should be ignored in my opinion, I change oil and filters every 10k and believe the car is much better for it.

I have my Vectra CDTI for 5 years and it is the best car I have ever owned. Very easy to fuel, Tax and insure. I have never had a days bother with it.
When I 1st purchased it I had planned to keep it for max 3 years - but 5 years later I still have it.
The SRI drives and handles well and has the looks to match.
This was my 1st Vauxhall having driven VW, Audi, Merc - and can safely say it wont be my last.

Bouhgt this car in July of Last year from Mark Mckernan in newry - Great guy and with brilliant cars.

This car is a superb driver - real smooth. A few bells and whistles as well.No issues with the car so far - We have done about 8000 miles. The only thing I added was a bluetooth system for our phones that also allows us to play music.

I look forward to many years of comfortable driving with this car.
