2004 Jaguar X-Type Diesel Manual Luxury/Exec by seamy • 18th April 2012
Iv had my 2004 X-Type 2.0D SE for over four years and love it more everyday, its reliable looks the part with full cream leather seats which are heated, has cruise control and is better than any Merc or Beamer i have ever owned, the running costs are the reason I chose this car, i average on a good motorway run 50MPG+. Oh and the LADIES love it too!!

THE X TYPE JAG IS A LOT OF CAR FOR THE MONEY WITH AN O4 SELLING FOR UNDER £4K ITS THE SAME PRICE AS A 00 AUDI QUATTRO AND THE JAG IS BETTER BUILT.I HAVE AN 05 MODEL WHICH HAS NEVER LET ME DOWN AND RETURNS JUST OVER 30MPG. THE CAR IS VERY EXPENSIVE LOOKING AND A REAL HEAD TURNER. AND BEST OF ALL ITS A JAGUAR!!!! THE O4 MODEL AND ONWARDS HAVE THE NEW DESIGN INTERIOR AND AN UPGRADED CLUTCH. THIS CAR IS GREAT IN THE SNOW WITH 60% OF THE AWD GOING TO THE BACK WHEELS GIVING PERFECT BALANCE AND CONTROL. WOULD RECOMMEND WATCHING THE TOPGEAR REVIEW OF THE CAR.

The x type is a fantastic car to drive, its sharpe steering, responsive V6 engine and the overall build quality are simply class leading. As an all wheel drive its very economical giving around 35mpg. Best to buy is the 2.5 v6 awd manual. The car is easy to run and well finished and the v6 engine roars when pushed. Try to buy with the 18" alloy wheels.
