(17th April 2013) 2002 Toyota Corolla Petrol Manual Hatchback by ryan
Car is now 11 year old with 127000 miles on it. Has never let me down and doesnt look like it will anytime soon. Running costs are low and it is easy to live with. Drive is smooth and comfortable if a bit sluggish. A sound buy, you wont regret it.

This is my second toyota corolla and they are the best built cars in the world. I bought this one off a friend and it has 130k miles on it and drives like a dream. They are comfortable, easy to run im getting 40mpg which is good, it has good power from the 1.4vvti engine which delivers 94bhp and sounds great. People think it has too small of an engine but its the most powerful 1.4 engine you can get and when you drop it into 3rd gear it flys down the road. Its the best engine and very reliable had no problems at all. The interior is well made, and its anice place to be. They handle brilliantly and will easily do 250k miles no problem. The parts are cheap and easy to service. As i said this is my second one i sold my first one and bought a diesel and gave me nothing but trouble so i did the sensible thing and bought another corolla and never looked back.

Fantastic car! Bought brand new (January 07) from Seamus Murphy Motors in Hilltown. I covered 38000 Miles without any problems what so ever. Overall it was a pleasure to own, easy on fuel and quite powerful. The interior was typical Toyota, quite bland but very well built. The average MPG was always between 48- 52 Mpg which was fairly good. To drive it was uninspiring, the seats were uncomfortable and there wasn't much space in the front width-wise. But I know 1 thing, the Corolla would be the most sensible option to put your money into as they are unstoppable.
