Iíve owned this car for 9 years and although things have gone wrong and Iíve spent a little money on it, show me a car thatís 100% and costs nothing to run. Iíve changed front and rear calipers, new brake discs on the rear, treated it to two new rear springs, a new turbo pipe, one parking sensor, a steering pipe and an EGR valve cover. Not bad for 9 years and 55,000 miles! I think itís great to drive, smooth and enough power when you need it, plenty of room in the boot and an echo when the rear seats are down! The leather seats are comfortable, the leather itself stands the wear and tear well and the heated/ventilated option is a great choice. I keep it regularly serviced with a main dealer and the prices arenít bad with added discount. All in all, a great car, and I wouldnít hesitate to buy one.

Got the car in August 2010 as a company car, have had it back to Charles Hurst so many times with faults the hire company are taking legal action to get Vauxhall to replace the car. Overall I am averaging 38Mpg and 46Mpg on the motorway. The build quality leaves a lot to be desired, quite a few things have broken and there has been a few irritating rattles. One good point is the driving experience, its a lovely comfortable car and the seats are very supportive! Even though it's an SE spec car, it's very well equipped. Finally the 2ltr CDTi is very unrefined and needs to be worked rather hard on B-roads in comparison to my old Avensis 2.0 D-4D 126bhp. Never was a lover of Vauxhall's, can't say i'll ever drive one again once I get rid of this.

This has been a recent purchase (Second hand), for the last year I have gained a fair idea of what the insignia is like as a car. The experience behind the wheel is very reasonable, I think its quite comfortable to drive and the 1.7 litre diesel engine provides more than enough power when driving around. This car has a decent efficiency meaning low running costs, I do a lot of driving so this has been useful. However it seems to give me the odd problem here and there, the stereo has has needed slight tweaking and a couple of other bits and pieces needed adjusting. Overall I have been very happy to use the insignia for business and family purposes and would recommend it.
