+ bullet proof build, loads of tech, smooth CVT transmission, pleasure to drive, safety features second to none, rare sight. - fuel economy (due to permanent AWD), throaty on start up whilst engine is cold. Amazing car.

Great car, bullet proof reliability, 4wd for the summer and winter :) wrx proves cheaper insurance add the PPP and performance is near that of the sti and still 30+ MPG, Id challenge anything else to have the complete package.

build quality second to none! 100% reliable and a joy to drive. Holds road like glue! I have the RE version: so well equipped, Heated leather and electrically adjusted seats, sunroof, cruise control. etc.

Sherman, that's what it should be called, with its capability and mini tank like build quality. It will easily beat up a Rav or Freelander with its 1800kg tow capacity, on road handling, and proper 4wd system with locking diff and low range when off it. Couple that with its luxury saloon car "extra's" and you will forgive its £280 tax and 30-32 MPG.

Have had the Forester Turbo for two years and have done all my own maintenance except for one visit to garage for a c/v boot. Totally reliable. Very practical and comfortable. Go anywhere in any weather. Real head-turner, people who like cars come over and ask questions about it. 25 to 29 MPG, but great craic and 0 to 60 in under 8 seconds!.
