Smart Fortwo 2010. Great car for nipping around, parking and great for taking the dog. Not great on longer journeys but not too many of them. Only downside, no power steering.

I bought the car in 2006 after agreeing to test drive a forfour. While we waited for the demo car to be refuelled, I joked about trying one of the 2 seater smarts. The salesman said why not and took me out in a roadster. It took a while before a coupe became available but it was worth the wait. The car is a pleasure to drive, full of fun and thrills at road legal speeds. Despite its size, it's very practical too which has allowed me to keep it for 6 years now. A thriving and knowledgable online community at TheRoadster.net is an asset to this car. Other manufacturers and model clubs would do well to try to follow in their steps. It's economical to own too with great MPG, low tax band and a low insurance group.
