I have had this car for three years, the only thing that I have had to ever replace has been the wiper blades, tyres and the timing belt... all things you would expect to replace. Huge amount of power, very quiet, very comfortable, amazing hifi - would highly recommend this car for the family. Three years of great driving so far (and the car is six years old!)

Bad car I would not take one if you we're giving me it for free had a s line tdi convertible 06 140bhp top of the range 87'000 miles had it for 4 weeks every thing went wrong PDF fitter then camshaft lost £££££££££££ on it ,worst car ever don't buy one.

Had a 2.0 litre Diesel 140 bhp. The worst car I ever owned. It was constantly breaking down and when I would bring it to the Audi garage all they would say 'that part goes in them all'.
I could never go on a journey with either the car breaking down or worrying about it breaking down. It was very expensive to repair with the last bill costing me €1,800 and it out of action for 1 month.
It was an S-Line with big wheels which costed a small fortune to put tyres on and the ride was extremely bumpy. Very poor space inside and arm rest and glove box constantly breaking. Very poor build quality.
The only positive was it had great power when running well.
Not a good car.

The Audi b5 s4 is a fully loaded family saloon with great looks and staggering performance. Bags of torque and pulls like a train. Examples with upwards of 150000 miles are still making good money proving the reliability. There are lots of cheap secondhand parts available and websites like Audisrs offer any information you could ever need. Evo and scooby performance with amazing build quality and far better ride. Serious car for the money and still look great in standard form

I have owned this car for just over 2 years (my second A4) and I have to say it is the best car I have owned. Good handling, reasonable mpg, feels well made and looks good. I will be honest though, I have had a few faults, some of which can be costly to reapir. I would definately buy another Audi but think I would go for a S3/S4/S5 the next time.

Very comfortable car to drive and not too big when parking! Excellent boot space for dog etc... Responsive performance from automatic gearbox and handling is very well balanced.

I've had my A4 for 6 years and it's a great driving car and very reliable. Excellent handling and plenty of power with the 130 bhp version. I'd recommend the 130Bhp over the 100Bhp as the extra torque makes a big difference without impacting too much on mpg.
Typical German built quality with no rattles and feels very safe. The rear cabin could do with a little more space for baby seats etc.. but apart from that it's a great car.
